Pierce suffered the injury in the third quarter of Friday's loss to Hamilton, and sat out the rest of the contest. A story on the team's website said Pierce will miss "limited action," but did not provide specifics beyond this weekend's game.

Steven Jyles will start Saturday against Edmonton.
